An Interactive drumming Team building session requires and develops team work (synergy - bringing diverse energies together as one), as well as fostering team spirit.
We have developed a program that is entertaining, instructional, and focussed on the value of team work & team unity. While being a fun and highly memorable experience.

The drumming team building session is both a powerful metaphor and an effective demonstration of your team working together in harmony towards a common goal. Working together in harmony is essential in any company or organisation, it promotes social co-operation, effective communication, and improves efficiency. As well as strengthening social bonds between team members - when people play together they learn new things about one another.

By presenting your team with new challenges - they are required to break out of their comfort zones and express themselves creatively. By doing so in a group setting, people develop relationships in new ways - which builds the team from within. Team building is about developing relationships amongst members of the team, which creates a stronger sense of community. Our program is specifically designed to bring this about, and has been fine tuned over many years of experience.

Interactive gumboot Dancing

We bring the boots and the beat!
A popular team building activity that will bring out the rhythm in your team.
Energising and interactive - comfortable clothing is recommended.

The Gumboot dance session begins with the facilitator teaching the basic Gumboot dance steps, and combine the steps to form routines performed by the whole group. Where everyone hears how the dance translates into rhythm.

The Gumboot dance team building activity can be combined with a team building drumming session to create a longer (half-day) session.

We also offer a creative option to add more value to this team build, while giving your team an engaging activity which allows team members to express their unique personalities.

Learn to play authentic middle eastern rhythms with a drumming ensemble - the group can be divided into darbuka and bass drum parts.
This drumming team building activity can include bellydancing!

Part of the team can play the drum parts while the rest learn the dance moves, and then swap.

Interactive Boomwhackers Team Build

Boomwhackers are plastic tubes of varying colours and lengths, when struck they produce a particular note.

By dividing the group into smaller teams - each with their own Boomwhackers - we can facilitate the group to play melodies, and make music.

This team building activity can include interactive drumming for longer sessions.

African Drumming & Dance Team Building

Our dance instructors will teach participants dance steps and routines, while accompanied by our group of drummers - maintaining the beat, playing traditional and modern African rhythms.

Don't be surprised if individual team members decide to show some solo moves when the grooves give them some inspiration.
And, our drummers will respond with some drum solos to further inspire your team members.

Comfortable clothing and shoes are recommended.
